Description
Campden Tablets contain about 450 milligrams of potassium metabisulphite to prevent wild yeast & bacteria spoiling wine. These are added crushed to a little water and are used as sterilising agents. The usual rate is two tablets per 4 – 5 litres for sterilising the must, the same at the first racking, and one tablet at successive rackings.
