Description
The wine thief makes it easy to take samples from your carboy or fermenter for the purpose of hydrometer readings or
tasting samples. Sanitise the wine thief before use and then insert the wine thief part way into the brew. Place your thumb over the hole at the top of the thief trapping the liquid in the thief. Remove the thief from the fermenter and place the bottom of the thief into a glass or hydrometer test tube. Remove your thumb from the top and the liquid will flow out.
